FERLY PRADO, was raise in São Paulo, Brazil. She began dancing at the age of 3 in her mother's Academy, Academia de Música e Ballet Elza Prado. At age 2 she auditioned and was accepted into the Kirov academy of ballet, in Washington DC. She then trained at the Southern Ballet Theatre in Orlando, FL, under the direction of Fernando Bujones. In 2001 Debbie Allen invited Ferly to be one of the first to joined her new academy in Los Angeles, the Debbie Allen Dance Academy. Over the last 16 years, she’s worked with some of the best choreographers in the industry including Marty Kudeka, Toni Basil, Barry Lather, Frank Gatson, and Marguerite Derricks to name a few. Ferly has toured the world with Tina Turner, Beyonce, and Chayanne and has appeared in music videos with Justin Timberlake & Britney Spears. You would have seen her on GLEE, Two and a Half Men with Ashton Kutcher, ABC Family’s “Bunheads”, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Billboard Awards with Beyonce, the Latin Billboard Awards with Chayanne, and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Awards. Some of her other credits include Nike, FIAT, Sketchers, Nissan, Ford, Bratz, Elle Magazine, and Nuclear Cowboyz. Ferly loves to share her knowledge and passion for dance with the next generation and she is extremely excited about being on Faculty for The Movement!
